Private, semi-private, and special group classes

Individual instruction in English is available for students who want a more customized program. Instruction can take place online via Zoom, in person at the Institute, or at the student’s workplace or home. You can choose which platform you prefer:  Some students want to be in person, while others want to study online via Zoom. At ILI, you can do either.

Private Tutorials:

A private tutorial is the instruction of one student. The instruction can be designed to the individual’s needs and goals of learning English. Each session is a minimum of 2 instructional hours. Meeting days, times, and places can be flexible.

$48 per hour, books and materials are extra, travel surcharges may apply.

Semi-Private Tutorials:

A semi-private tutorial is the simultaneous instruction of two students by one teacher in English. Both students need to be at the same level and follow the same curriculum which can be designed to meet the students’ needs and goals. Each session is a minimum of 2 instructional hours. Meeting days, times, and places can be flexible.

$28 per hour per student, books and materials are extra, travel surcharges may apply.

Special Group Class:

A special group class consists of three or more students on the same English level who are instructed together. Oftentimes, a special group class is arranged and paid for by an organization or an employer and takes place off-site. Each session is a minimum of 2 instructional hours. Special group classes usually follow a regular schedule.

$75 per hour, books and materials are extra, travel surcharges may apply.

Enrollment:

To enroll in any of our English Programs, the student needs to complete an application and pay a $75 application fee. The minimum age is 14. The application can be completed online by going to our Online Application page, or the paper Application Form can be downloaded, printed, and mailed or faxed in. Prospective students may also come to our school and apply in person. Please indicate your preferred day(s) and times.
