Join one of our three TOEFL Preparation classes and get ready for taking the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)! Advanced English skills are required for enrollment. A placement test will be given to all new students in person.
Intensive TOEFL Preparation Class
This class includes intensive work on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, as well as strategies for approaching TOEFL tasks and testing on the computer. Students take two mini-exams and one complete practice exam each cycle. The complete course is eight weeks. Our intensive TOEFL class meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:10 pm. The required text for the TOEFL Preparation course is currently $97.
The official 2019 start dates
The I-20 form for an F-1 student visa can be issued for students in the Intensive TOEFL Preparation class who are at least 16 years of age. For more information on obtaining an F-1 Student Visa and the requirements for obtaining an I-20 form, please go to our F-1 Visa Information page.
Tuition: $780 for 4 weeks
Semi-Intensive Evening TOEFL Preparation Class
Our semi-intensive evening TOEFL classes meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:40 pm to 8:45 pm. The complete course is 24 weeks. The required text for the TOEFL Preparation course is currently $97. Students can start any Tuesday.
Tuition: $260 for 4 weeks
Semi-Intensive Saturday TOEFL Preparation Class
Our semi-intensive Saturday TOEFL classes meet from 9:00 am to 1:05 pm, including a 20-minute break. The complete course is 40 weeks. The required text for the TOEFL Preparation course is currently $97. Students can start any Saturday.
Tuition: $160 for 4 weeks
To enroll in any of our TOEFL Preparation classes, the student needs to complete an application and pay a $75 application fee. The minimum age is 14. The application can be completed online by going to our Online Application page, or the paper application form (Application Form / Semi-Intensive English Enrollment Form) can be downloaded, printed, and mailed or faxed in. Prospective students may also come to our school and apply in person. Advanced English skills are required for enrollment. A placement test will be given to all new students.

Saturday: 9 am – 12:30 pm
No appointment necessary.
The test is not available online.
Tuition for the first 4 weeks has to be paid entirely before the student is allowed in class.
Taking the TOEFL
The preparation class does not include registering for or taking the official test. Please note that ILI is not a test center for the TOEFL. To find a test center or to register for the official test, please go to www.ets.org/toefl.
