New ESL Students receive 50% tuition discount through September 30, 2020

Washington, DC (JULY 28, 2020) The International Language Institute (ILI) has reopened its live, in-person group classes in English and many foreign languages. ILI is authorized, under Federal law, to enroll individuals with F-1 student visas. The I-20 form for an F-1 student visa can be issued for students in the Intensive English Day Program, including the TOEFL Preparation course, who are at least 16 years of age and enroll for a minimum of four weeks.  The institute has been serving international students for 50 years and offers accredited courses in small class sizes for an immersive learning experience.

Tuition Assistance

To assist students with tuition, ILI is providing a 50 percent tuition discount on any of its four-week ESL courses, online or in-person, for new students who apply before September 30, 2020.

Student Housing Options

The International Language Institute’s Homestay Program offers F-1 visa students the opportunity to learn, first-hand, how Americans live and work. Homestay students live in comfortable houses in residential neighborhoods within normal commuting distance from the institute. Each host family has been carefully selected and interviewed by the Homestay Coordinator. An application is required. Homestay includes:

  • A private, furnished bedroom
  • Breakfast everyday
  • Dinner five (5) days per week
  • Use of laundry facilities
  • All utilities (electricity, water, cable TV, internet)
  • Linens (bed linens and towels)

The International Language Institute also offers students a variety of housing options through its partner 4stay. Participants can easily search online for a fully furnished private or shared room, apartment or entire house including all utilities. Your stay can be short-term, month-to-month, by semester or year.
